NYU Shanghai Reads and the Center for Teaching and Learning co-hosted a faculty workshop to discuss the NYU Shanghai Reads book that will be selected for the upcoming academic year. During the workshop faculty briefly heared about the community-wide programming the NYU Shanghai Reads Committee completed during AY 21-22 and also the selection process for AY22-23. Then, faculty members were led through group discussions on how the AY22-23 book could possibly be incorporated into their courses. Finally, faculty members were led through discussions on how to develop community-wide programming (e.g., a series of faculty-led salons) working with the NYUSH Reads Program in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
